New Approaches in Free Fluid Electrophoresis

abstract

Our group develops new diagnostic tools based on capillary electrophoresis. This technique allows the analysis of drugs, metabolites and endogenous compounds in nanoliter-size samples of body fluids. Other activities focus on the elucidation of the fundamentals of electrokinetic mass transport and separation in free fluids using computer simulation and experimental validation on analytical and preparative instruments.
