| Summary / Zusammenfassung | A number of detection methods - enzymatic or imunological - exist to determine the kind of biological fluid present e.g. in a criminal stain. Specificity of these tests has been a constant issue. mRNA profiling tragets the detection of secret specific proteins. mRNA markers for blood, saliva, semen, vaginal and menstrual secretions are known. These and new ones are tested with regard to specificity, stability and sensitivity. Additonally the developpment of multiplex detection systems is envisaged. Artificial stains as well as real case stains are examined. | ||||||
