Title / Titel	Soft Computing in the Context of Autonomous Agents

Summary / Zusammenfassung	In this framework, I investigate various algorithmic aspects of different soft computing methods, such as neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, and fuzzy logic, in the context of autonomous agents. It turns out that autonomous agents impose new requirements on these methods that have been widely neglected in most technical applicatations. In this research, the adaptation and developent of suitable algorithms particularly focus on biological systems; nature provides us with several interesting and nearly optimal solutions for many problems, and the challange is to adapt them to real-world applications.
