| Summary / Zusammenfassung | Noncompaction of ventricular myocard is a rare cardiomyopathy characterized by persistence of fetal myocard with numerous prominent trabeculations and deep intertrabecular recessi, giving the myocard a spongy appearance. The disease can occur isolated or in association with other congenital heart malformations. The frequency of the disease in association with other congenital heart defects is not well known. Meanwhile, the molecular genetic basis has been determined. Epidemiological, clinical, and genetic factors of patients with noncompaction of ventricular myocard in patients with congenital heart disease will be analysed. | ||
