Summary / Zusammenfassung	The collected survey data (project 2008–2008) have shown a complex fortification system, consisting of several phases, different walls and towers ranging from Antiquity to the destruction of the city in 1246 A.C. Excavations started in 2009 and will continue until 2011. Main focus of study regards the ancient and later phases of the city wall as well as the main entrance into the ancient city (and its mediaval phases).
