Assessement of mission orientation in pilots and its correlation with personality
Summary / Zusammenfassung
Accomplishing a flight mission is a complex task and contingent on a variety of facilitating conditions but also obstacles. Several factors play a role, including habitual decision making strategies, risk appraisals, and the personality of the pilots. In this project a set of developed assessment tools will be evaluated for reliability, stability and validity. Instruments will be identified that can be used for convergent and divergent validity. A set of computerized tasks will be administerd to several samples together with some personality scales and other measures as validation criterion. The results will help optimizing decision strategies.
