Title / Titel	Estimation of the postmortem interval by observation of the cooling curve: a new approach

Summary / Zusammenfassung	The Henssge-Nomogram provides the so far best validated approach to estimate the postmortem interval based on the body core temperature. The entire approach is grounded on standard conditions. When using the approach the present conditions have to be corrected by different correction factors to be comparable to the cooling behavior under standard conditions. The aim of the present project is to implement a temperature documentation system that makes the use of correction factors dispensable and improves the performance of time to death estimations by body core temperature documentation distinctively.
