| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The selective amygdalohippocampectomy (SAHE) is has been developed in Zurich as an alternative to the anterior temporal lobe resection for patients with mesial temporal lobe epilepsy. The aim of this ongoing project is to follow-up all patients with SAHE since 1975 to study the impact of this type of surgery on seizure control, use of antiepileptic drugs, neuropsychological outcome and psychoscocial factors. | ||||||
