Title / Titel Velocity distribution in the pulmonary artery side branches in the presence of significant pulmonary regurgitation
PDF Abstract (PDF, 14 KB)
Summary / Zusammenfassung Hypothesis: Flow profiles in the pulmonary side branches in patients with corrected tetralogy of Fallot and pulmonary regurgitation may present unsteady during systole and diastole. Geometry of the pulmonary arteries in TOF may additionally influence flow dynamics.

Aims: Evaluate velocity profiles of blood flow in the pulmonary side branches and compare their distribution between the right- and the left pulmonary artery, by using velocity-encoded phase-contrast magnetic resonance. Population: patients after TOF correction with pulmonary regurgitation
