Title / Titel	Humor among the elderly

Summary / Zusammenfassung	Humor research has studied the sense of humor in adults but little is known about individual differences in humor among the elderly. The present project investigates various aspects of humor as measured by instruments such as VIA-IS humor scale (Peterson & Seligman, 2003; humor as a character strength), SHS (Sense of Humor Scale, McGhee, 1999) and PhoPhiKat (Ruch & Proyer, 2009) in samples of older participants. Attention is given to age-related differences and to causes of consequences of humor among the elderly.
