Title / Titel	Fast determination of drugs of abuse in human tissue sections by MALDI mass spectrometric imaging

Summary / Zusammenfassung	In forensic toxicology GC-MS or LC-MS are the methods of choice for determination of drugs of abuse in blood, urine, oral fluid or other biological matrices. Sometimes, post-mortem analysis of human tissues is required for drugs of abuse investigation. Many approaches have been successfully developed, but the analysis of such complex biomatrices usually requires several steps for the sample preparation. The objective of the project is to directly analyze tissues using mass spectrometric imaging (MSI).
