Title / Titel	Diagnostic and interventional percutaneous catheterization in the early postoperative period (≤30 days) after congenital heart surgery in children

Summary / Zusammenfassung	Catherizations in the early period after congenital heart surgery (CHS) are considered to be associated with an elevated rate of morbidity and mortality due to the hemodynamic instability and vulnerability of these patients. Therefore, they are often avoided or delayed. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the feasibility and safety of diagnostic and interventional percutaneous procedures in this critical period (≤30 days) after CHS in children. Method: Retrospective evaluation of all early postoperative catheterizations in our institution between 01/2001 and 12/2009.
