Title / Titel Frequency and risk factors of arterial and venous femoral thrombosis after cardiac catheterization in infants during first year of life

Summary / Zusammenfassung The aim of the multi-center study is to evaluate frequency and potential risk factors of arterial and venous femoral thrombosis after diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization during the first year of life. Risk factor analysis of thrombotic vessel injury includes demographic data (body weight, age), hemodynamic factors (polycythemia, low cardiac output), technical aspects (sheath size/length, type of sheath), and anticoagulation during and after cardiac catheterization.
