Title / Titel German-language version of the Self-directed Search (SDS) by Holland: EXPLORIX and Position Classification Inventory (PCI) by Holland: EXPLOJOB
PDF Abstract (PDF, 14 KB)
Original title / Originaltitel Deutschsprachige Version des Self-directed Search (SDS) von Holland: EXPLORIX
Summary / Zusammenfassung The SDS is a career interest inventory that can be self-administered, self-scored, and self-interpreted. It bases upon John Holland’s theory of career choice. In a joint project with the Federal Employment Office (Bundesanstalt für Arbeit) in Nürnberg, Germany and the University of Linz, we prepared and tested empirically a German-language version of the SDS: The EXPLORIX. By Explorix and a German Version of Position Classification Inventory (PCI, Gottfredson & Holland), various questions in the fields of self-assessement, individual differences, career development, person-job-fit as well as assessment of jobs were enlighted.
