| Summary / Zusammenfassung | Counseling practice in sport psychology employs psychological instruments that are claimed to assess the psychological skills requisite to success in sports. Such instruments include the German-language version of the Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool (Durand-Bush, Salmela & Green-Demers, in press), the Psychological Performance Inventory (Loehr, 1982), the Sports Emotional-Reaction Profile (Tutko & Tosi, 1976), and Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (Mahoney, Gabriel & Perkins, 1987). As little is known about the psychometric quality of these tests, this project will examine whether the instruments meet current test-psychology standards. | ||
