Summary / Zusammenfassung The main research focuses on various aspects of the prehistoric and protohistoric connections with the Adriatic islands of Korcula, Susac, Lastovo and Mljet, Croatia. Currently, this ranges from the Early Neolithic, Copper, Bronze and Iron Age through to the Graeco-Roman Period. Seafaring, resources and palaeoenvironments are major themes of the research. The project is also investigating the historic connections to these islands (Venetian, Croatian, Austro-Hungarian). Fieldwork of 1997-2007 includes survey and excavation.
