Title / Titel	Lexicology of Eastern Mande languages in the context of Mande linguistic comparison

Summary / Zusammenfassung	This project aims at writing standardized dictionaries (3000-4000 entries) for four languages of the Mani-Bandama group. Besides knowing more about the internal structure of the Mande subphylum, this effort intends to cast additional light on the somewhat controversial status of Mande within the Niger-Kordofanian phylum. Informal collaboration with the Institut de Linguistique Apliquée at Abidjan-Cocody University.
