| Summary / Zusammenfassung | This project analyzes normative and positive issues concerning multinational firms. One part of the project investigates recent claims that multinational firms have greater influence on national politics than national firms. Using game-theoretic models, both the incentives for lobbying and the effectiveness of such lobbying activities are compared for national and multinational firms. A second part discusses which international institutional arrangements are appropriate for the regulation of foreign direct investment. |
