| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The study aims at investigating how the topic “domestic violence” was represented in Swiss print media in 2002. Domestic violence is defined as violence against women (and their children) within (former) marital or romantic relationships. The search of relevant media articles is based on internet archives. The articles are analyzed regarding structure, content and language. The analyses involve quantitative and qualitative methods. The goal of the study is to improve the public relations of the “Women’s Shelter Zurich” and the “Association for the Protection of Abused Women and their Children”. | ||||||
