| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The last 20 years have seen a transformation of the world of work. How have young adults responded to these changes? An article in the Zurich newspaper Tagesanzeiger reported on 25 June 2002 that more and more young people were dropping out of their apprenticeships. It appears that today, young people, with their abilities and interests, are finding it more difficult to enter the work world. Are the job offerings and needs of the employers no longer interesting to our young people? What course did young people’s process of choosing an occupation and education and training take? How do young adults see themselves as (future) employees? The Youth Survey will provide discriminating answers to these questions. | ||||||
