Title / Titel	Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) Whole Genome Expression profiling in EBV-associated Lymphomas: Development of an Oligonucleotide Microarray and Applications.

Summary / Zusammenfassung	Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is associated to a variety of tumours. The formation of EBV-associated tumors is significantly driven by the interplay of so far incompletely identified viral and human factors and that the essential EBV factors are determined by viral gene expression profiles exhibited during specific as yet not fully characterized circumstances. The goal ist to establish a so far commercially not available tool, i.e. a DNA microarray chip featuring the complete set of genes of the EBV in order to allow for comprehensive identification of viral gene expression profiles essential for the formation of EBV associated lymphomas.
