Title / Titel Psychical state of pregnant women in the last trimenon – effects on labour and delivery and of the psychical state post partum
PDF Abstract (PDF, 14 KB)
Summary / Zusammenfassung The project aims to describe the psychical state (most of all pregnant-related anxiety), the self-efficacy (sensu Bandura, 1977) and the psychosocial adaptation (sensu Lederman, 1996) of pregnant women in the last trimenon in Switzerland. Furthermore the influence of pregnancy-related anxieties, the self-efficacy and the psychosocial adaptation on labour, delivery and the psychical state post partum will be investigated. The aim is to make use of these perceptions to seize pregnant women with a higher risk for complications and to work out a psychological intervention for primary and secondary prevention in obstetrics.
