| Summary / Zusammenfassung | This project will promote a multidisciplinary interchange between descriptive studies and normative academic discourse, both, on the one hand, in the field of globalisation, and, on the other hand, within the normative discourse itself (that is, between a discussion of the principles of justice and of applied questions of justice). The project intends to develop a constructivist model not of a generalized, abstract political justice within a national state, but of a just society within the different complex spheres of life and within the framework of multi-levelled political institutions. Among the participants, the project will hone skills in developing a constructive model of justice related to a specific sphere of life while taking into account the constraints imposed by developments in other spheres of justice and of life. The project intends to show that taking other cases and examples into account provides analysis with more possibilities, and hence with more suggestions and solutions in reflections on justice. Thus, the broader objective includes contributing to shaping the conception of European citizenship. |
