Summary / Zusammenfassung	Exhibition project on the morphological transformations of an elementary type of drum, prevalent in shamanic societies from Lappland to the Bering Strait and from Siberia to the Himalayas. These morphological changes from one society to the next are accompanied by changes in the functions of the shaman, by changes in cosmological ideas, and by changes in the myths relating the origin of the shaman's most important tools. The research continues with a closer look to the drums and related data of the Limbu, the Lepcha, the tibetan nga chen. Weitere Informationen
