| Summary / Zusammenfassung | Due to a steady change in environmental conditions, as well as a significant rise in competitiveness, the debate about value oriented thinking and acting is becoming of increasing importance in both theory and practice. Additionally, company stakeholders are becoming more demanding that their specific interests be taken into consideration. In consequence, a need arises for increased managerial activity on an operative and a strategic level. Thus, accounting and control have become indispensable management tools in modern business practice, especially in the area of directional planning. The project focuses on the building of a conceptional framework for contemporary management accounting and controlling as well as practical, theoretically sound developments and improvements to financial management and controlling instruments. | ||
