Completed research project

Title / Titel Prospective Memory in Children
PDF Abstract (PDF, 14 KB)
Summary / Zusammenfassung Prospective Memory is a form of memory we use every day, it refers to our memory for things we still have to do, i.e. memory for intentions. Despite its importance in everyday life, not much research has investigated how children develop the ability to remember intentions. Our current project focused on the development of prospective memory in 7-12-year-old children.

Data collection is complete, initial results have been analysed and presented at two Congresses. Two pubölications are in preparation. Further analysis will take place in March 2006 and results are expected to be presented later in the year.
