Title / Titel: Modeling emotional and cognitive decision making processes under uncertainty

Summary / Zusammenfassung: The main aim of this research project is to develop and test a new model of decision making under uncertainty, where different process components and individual treshold values are integrated. The theory behind this criterium model considers processes like searching for information, valuating cues and cue information on an emotional and cognitive level, comparing with a desired level of confidence and finally integrating information values into a final decision. When testing the limits of the model, some of the experiments focus on emotional, moral and pathological aspects of jugdement and decision making. Data will be mainly collected by experiments or internet surveys.
