| Summary / Zusammenfassung | This investigation of 806 Swiss primary school teachers (grades 1 to 6, German speaking part of Switzerland) revealed particularly low MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory) sub-scale mean values for emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and a high mean value for personal accomplishment. One goal of the study was to demonstrate that the usual percentage of so-called "burned-out" teachers can be found even in samples with particularly low sub-scale means when simplifying methods are used uncritically. | ||
