Title / Titel	Aspirn resistance in children following interventional cardiac catheterization

Summary / Zusammenfassung	Interventional cardiac catheterization is followed in most of the patients by an oral anticoagulation with aspirin (3-5mg/kg/d) for 3-6 months. No published data on aspirin resitance in children are available. This study wants to determine the frequency of aspirin resistance in otherwise healthy children after isolated interventional cardiac catheterization. It will provide first evidence-based data on the usefulness of antplatelet therapy in these children. Finally this study will evaluate the usefulness of three different platelet function assays for the diagnosis of aspirin resistance.
