| Summary / Zusammenfassung | Goal conflict is described as an important factor for subjective well-being and goal striving behaviour (Emmon & King, 1988; Riediger & Freund, 2004). Usually goal conflict is assessed by an idiographic measure which is very time-consuming. The aim of this research project was the development and validation of a short scale for goal conflict. A first questionnaire with 33 items assessing both goal conflict and goal facilitation was piloted and amended accordingly. A further validation is carried out with a larger sample. Outcomes of convergent and discriminant validation, correlations to external criteria and the confirmatory factor analysis will be analyzed. | ||||||
