| Summary / Zusammenfassung | In the present project correlational as well experimental studies are conducted to analyze determinants and consequences of approach and avoidance motivation in the domain of personal goal striving. In correlational studies participants are asked to report on their personal goals in different areas of life (e.g., sports, academic life, leisure time) and on their emotional well-being. In experimental studies we induce an approach versus avoidance orientation in participants and look at their intrinsic motivation and behavioral performance. | ||
