Summary / Zusammenfassung: - Exploration of the territorial extension and the internal structure of the city of Dorylaion (western Phrygia). Collection and edition of the relevant classical and byzantine inscriptions.
- Identification of all classical and byzantine monuments which are accessible without excavation. Preparation for further scientific treatment. Annotated edition of the collected written material in a corpus with the help of the programme Heuristicon - P.E.T.R.A.E. developed by the University of Bordeaux (France). Historical and linguistical interpretation of the collected documents. Reconstruction of a historical and social picture of the whole area.
