| Summary / Zusammenfassung | In this project we investigate the perception of eye gaze direction. Using psychophysical experiments it was shown that objects influence perceived gaze direction. In a second study, it was shown that processing of local component information in the eyes is responsible for perceived eye gaze direction. In contrast to face recognition, the perception of eye gaze direction is much less - if at all - dependent on processing global configural information in faces. Weitere Informationen |
