Title / Titel Do daily threshold trend fluctuations of epicardial leads correlate with pacing and sensing characteristics?
PDF Abstract (PDF, 14 KB)
Summary / Zusammenfassung A major benefit of the AutoCapture® algorithm in automatic threshold tracking devices is the accurate determination of pacing thresholds, as pacing thresholds are affected by physiologic and pharmacologic factors. The algorithm additionally comprises stored diagrams of ventricular pacing threshold trends. Thus, pacing threshold fluctuations for a given period can easily be retrieved from the trend graphs. The valuable ability of the AutoCapture® feature to retrieve continuous monitoring of ventricular pacing threshold has facilitated to evaluate the clinical status of patients. However, there are no data about the magnitude of daily ventricular pacing threshold fluctuation during long-term follow up.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether daily amplitudes of ventricular threshold fluctuation correlate with ventricular threshold and sensing changes over time.
