therapeutic climbing in paediatric neurorehabilitation
Summary / Zusammenfassung
Climbing is may be a motivational therapeutic tool to improve muscle strength, coordination, sensori-motor control, neuropsychological functions (eg. planning of actions). It also enhances self confidence - in important cofactor of sucessful neurorehabilitation. Little has been investigated especially in paediatric field.
After a pilot study has been carried out (2005) a follow up study aims to investigate the effects of therapeutic climbing in rehabilitation of children with central motor impairment.
