| Summary / Zusammenfassung | The importance of security controls at airports has increased dramatically in recent years. A central aspect is the inspection of passenger baggage using x-ray machines. Since the last decision is always made by a human operator, it is important to better understand the underlying object recognition processes. The aim of this research collaboration is to understand how computer-based training increases object recognition performance and how this is reflected in changes of brain activity measured using fMRI.
