| Summary / Zusammenfassung | In this research project the effect of a number of variables including bag size, bag complexity, packing density, etc, on screener performance. For this, a set of X-ray images of cabin bags will be captured (on Smiths Heimann equipment), and will be presented in CBT format to screeners across a number of European airports. The detection performance of the screeners will be recorded, and analysed against the identified variables. The expected outcome is to draw some scientifically based conclusions about the significance of the bag size variable (by itself and in relation with other variables). Weitere Informationen |
